archiblocks IRL
This series was born while vacationing in Brazil. It is a visual exploration of the city. Wandering around couldn’t help but noticing the geometric colorful architecture of Florianopolis. While some of the buildings are painted, most of them are covered in square tiles, making them even more geometric and appealing to the eye. Suddenly, I only started seeing forms and colors. New shapes breaking through the urbanscape, developing its own rhythm and visual language, while also being true to the colorful brazilian identity. It is a project about de/reconstruction of a city, as a real life archiblock game.
